I couldn’t possibly be more satisfied with my experience with Dr. Fernandez. I’ve seen Dr. Fernandez twice over three years regarding a unique malformation of my wrist. I had seen a general orthopedic surgeon prior to Dr. Fernandez that told me I should stop any activity that involved strong gripping of my dominant hand (read: most activities) and essentially terrified me about the future of my wrist; as soon as I got a second opinion with Dr. Fernandez I was immediately relieved by his calm and thorough approach to medicine, unbeatable knowledge and expertise on the hand and wrist, and true empathy and validation for my concerns. Better yet, the prognosis for my wrist wasn’t this doomsday scenario at all! Working in healthcare myself, and having had many truly traumatizing doctor experiences, Dr. Fernandez is a rarity and the best doctor of any kind I’ve ever worked with or been seen by! I wish he also did primary care 😂 Thank you Dr. Fernandez and the Midwest Ortho team!
